This week is going to be amazing...

Yeah, I know Good Days are usually posted after a good day but I know this week is going to be great so I am posting now and I will update it throughout the week with how everything goes

Monday: Mum's Birthday, I have got a her a really nice present and I am going to buy flowers on the way home which always makes her cry. Oh and I have got her an Animal from the Muppet's birthday cake

Tuesday: My boyfriend's sister's birthday, I won't get to see her though as she goes to Signing Choir after school and doesn't get in til late. So normal day on Tuesday.

Wednesday: I am going to my boyfriends after school with presents. I got her tickets to see Disney Live! on Saturday My Mum had got her a Disney Princess Scrapbook set with a disposable camera to take with her on Saturday and a Make your own Disney Princess tiara set, you can make 3 so she can make 2 for us to wear on Saturday

Thursday: Going to her birthday party in the local pub. Me and my Boyfriend will be minding 15 kids in the park outside the pub while the parents relax inside

Friday: Going to a friend fund raising event It's bingo....

Saturday: Going to see Disney Live just me and my boyfriends sister and then we are going to Pizza Hut and going on the new big wheel that has opened in town . She is going to dress up as one of the Princesses and I have a Micky Mouse top to wear. After I am going to stay over at their house with my boyfriend

Sunday: Lazy day in my PJs with my boyfriend and his family

I am super excited, Beauty and the Beast is my favourite film of all time and I have seen it live 4 times already
From looking at videos on Youtube it is kid of like a pantomime. Minnie Mouse comes out looking for Mickey and gets the audience to shout him until he comes out, stuff like that.

My boyfriend's sister will love it, I have been learning some useful signs from my boyfriend for stuff like "toilet", "drink" and "wait" in case it is too loud and busy for her hearing aid to eliminate all the background noise or for if she starts signing at me for the toilet. I am also going to learn how to change the batteries in her hearing aids

This is the first time I have been out with his sister just us two, I am quite scared that I am going to be trusted with a deaf 10 year old, I just hope I don't lose her or break her

Aw yay all that stuff sounds really exciting

And knowing those kind of signs come in really handing when you're out in clubs and it's too loud to shout, just sign "toilet" or "home soon?" and problem solved!

Have a great time, you defintley deserve it. You sound like a great present-buyer btw!

Haha, yeah. When we went to a gig we were doing that but my boyfriend forgets I only know basic signs and goes off on one with a full conversation and I just stand there like

I have a few books for learning signs and I pick up bits from my boyfriend and his sister but I am going to do my level one when I go to Uni. It costs like £190 for the course so I am going to use my student loan to fund it

Thats a great idea, I did level 1 last year and I really enjoyed it. I didn't have to pay though because I was 18 when I enrolled and in full time education, so maybe you won't have to either? You'll still be 18 then I think?

Everywhere I have looked locally you have to pay unless you or someone in your immediate family are deaf. My school was supposed to offer Sign Language last year as an extra thing but not enough people wanted to do it so it got cancelled.

My Mum had a really nice birthday and she loved her present. I got her a box set of 15 musicals including Wizard of Oz, Sound of Music, King and I and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. She has been putting 1 on each time she does her ironing and she is off work on Friday and she plans on watching some then
My Mum's Animal cake was disgusting so we went and bought another one
On Sunday we had Christmas dinner because that is what my Mum wanted for her birthday

I had so much fun yesterday. At first she was confused about the tickets but after I explained it she was so excited. She keeps telling her Mum that me and her are going to see a Disney Show and she can't go because there are only 2 tickets and it is just for me and her. She has made me a crown which I will take a picture of today when I pick it up, I had to leave it there while the glue dried.

My boyfriend has shown her the website with some videos so now she fully understands and it bouncing off the walls

Off to her party tonight which should be fun, it is going to be mental looking after so many hyperactive children but it will be good.
