I finally got in to Uni!!!! -

On A Level results day I found out I hadn't got into Uni. Then when I got my results I realised there had been a mistake and I had got the grades to get into uni. Then I contacted the Uni to let them know and they said they would keep me a place. Then once the mistake was corrected I phoned them and they said I hadn't met the offer because I wasn't doing the correct qualifications. There offer was unclear and I thought I had met the offer. I sent an appeal off yesterday and I got a phone call this morning apologising for what has happened and offering me a place
 I am going to uni in 2 weeks so I now have a lot of things to sort out. The accommodation is full so I have to find somewhere to live. This is going to be mental. I am so happy though. I honestly did not expect them to change their mind when I appealed. I haven't stopped crying yet...

I'm so proud of you. Shame it involved so much confusion and hassle, but at least it was all worth it in the end.  I just hope you find somewhere to live now!

Yeah A Level results day was 2 weeks ago so it has been a pretty long wait. I really didn't expect the appeal to do anything but I had give it a try. I still can't believe it and still feel pretty sick.
I would have had a month to sort everything out if all this messing about didn't happen. I have found some private halls which is really nice but a bit more expensive, it is £10 a week more but has an ensuite and tv license included to I will be getting my moneys worth. I don't have much of a choice other than to live in a hotel or something

The uni have found me some accommodation
It is a private house and I will be with 3 other girls who are also first years on health related courses. The landlord is also a member of staff at the Uni in the health department. It is more expensive than the uni accommodation but is cheaper than the private accommodation I was looking at. There is also a chance I could live there for the whole 3 years of my degree. I am relieved I have a place to live now as that was my main worry so I am able to start getting really excited. |

That's wonderful. I'm glad things worked out in the end.
