Biggest flame war you have encountered? - April 22nd 2012, 01:36 PM

Im curious to know, what is this biggest Flame war on any Forum you have come across? Mine would be on a fishing forum, where i saw two other forum members biting chunks out of each other at a furious rate. This went on for nine whole pages and the mods were nowhere to be seen. Infact, the mods have done a dissapearing act on that site alltogether and now its a cesspit of flaming, trolling and general unrest.

There was this girl on a graphics forum I used to post on who was an absolute bitch. The forum was mostly full of 12 - 17 year old girls. She HATED teenage girls (so why she kept posting I don't know) She was only 19 herself and she thought she was all high and mightly because she was legally an adult. She used to talk down to us all the time. There was a thread on make-up and she said how shallow girls who wear make-up are. In the end someone made a thread about her and how rude she was. The thread was about 20 pages

She wasn't banned but she just stopped posting all together.

On DeviantArt, I saw an argument that spanned over a ton of pages. They were commenting on a post about environmental awareness, and they were arguing about how far humans should go to protect their planet, vs leaving it up to god. It was nasty. I couldn't even get through the entire thing, it was so long.
