Really it depends how old you are. I would guess nothing but a caution at most with a fine I would guess though the third bit could maybe be 12 weeks or so depending how bad it was.

If you have done these things, if you hand yourself to the police, sometimes the punishments can be less.

Hope that helps

I'm 16 and the cops already know. That's why I have obstruction added to my charges. These are my first run in with the cops other than my real mom calling the cops on my ex..

Hello, Shaydow. Welcome to TeenHelp! =) In my professional work, I support teens who are on probation for various reasons, so the answer is "it depends." Your attorney, whether it's a public defender or privately-hired attorney, should be able to give you an idea of what the minimum and maximum sanctions are for these sorts of charges. It may or may not involve time in a correctional facility, time on probation, restitution, community service, etc. depending on your age, what country you reside in, if you have any previous charges, and so on. There may or may not be things your attorney can do to reduce the severity of the sanctions, so definitely talk to them and bring up any questions/concerns you may have. They're the expert, not us!

It depends on a lot of things- but mostly depends on if this is your first offense, the state you live in , and the nature of the case. I would imagine that if your "indecent exposure" was simply public urination or something mild like that, you won't get in much trouble.

If all are misdemeanor charges, you could get no jail time at all if this is your first offense- in fact my state allows first misdemeanor offenders a one time diversion program instead of prosecution. I know this because I had to go through it for something. After that, you won't necessarily get jail time- but you will get probation (at least) and it will be on your record.

You should ask your lawyer about this--because they would probably have a good idea. If you don't have a lawyer then you should get one- since they can be of help - especially when it comes to getting felonies reduced to misdemeanors--reducing/eliminating jail time, etc.

Most likely , with your age and this being your first offense-- you will not receive any jail time at all. But you will probably have to go through some kind of diversion or youth offenders program. You'll probably have to do like 20 hours of community service and maybe take some sort of one-time class---and that will be it.

Thank you guys so much for replying to my post. I really appreciate your help. These are my first charges and I live in Ohio. I do not have a lawyer. My "indecent exposure" was not just simply public urination.. It was that I admitted to having sex outside in the middle of a trail.
