Remember that the hospital is helping you. You're there to get help, to learn how to deal with mental illness, to keep you safe. Although you want to be at home, if you go back to the hospital and follow the programme, you have a better chance of getting better, and getting out of the hospital for good.
When you're at home, do you have someone you can talk to? Maybe a family member who knows what you're going through. Maybe they can help you make some plans so you know what's happening and so you can make the most of your time at home and still go back to the hospital on time.
You can get through this

Hi there Mitchell!

As Harrison said, the hospital is there to help you. I understand that you do want to go home but it might make you feel better at the end of the day.

Talk to someone that you trust might be able to help you as well. I know it did for me.

I hope I helped and if you need anything, my inbox is always open.

Hi there,

I've had eleven hospital admissions, one last three years nearly so I know the feeling. Just remember why you're in hospital and that you need it right now and remind yourself you'll be back home soon again. Try to relax on the way back. I don't know about you but one of the times I was three hours away from home so the car journey could be very anxiety provoking but I listened to music and did reading and engaged in conversation with the staff escorting me. That helped me.

If you need anything I'm always here.
