Really bored!! - June 19th 2016, 10:57 AM

Well i find life really boring where i live and i spend most of my day at home unless i have to go grab something or buy something cuz my mom said so.Moving is really hard and i move to more of a area full of locals who speak arabic and i don't so im just wandering around trying to learn the language. The only thing i do when i really need fresh air is bike to the beach and sit there and think about life.Im also not very confident so in hopes of me getting better and my life being full of smiles i give a 0.......

Hey there,
I can relate to what you're saying. I to find myself bored sometimes and don't really know what to do with myself. I also like to take walks around the block/city to get some fresh air. There's a place a little ways down the road I like to go and sit and throw rocks in the creek.
Learning a new language can be challenging, and you might find that's exactly what you need. I have always liked to challenge myself and usually find myself fullfilled after completing one. Being confident can be hard, it's something that takes practice. I would exactly say life is always full of smiles - lol.
I hope you believe me when I say it does get better though. Hang in there and pick up a new hobby. Give it some thought and try new things, maybe you'll find something you enjoy and a way to occupy your time. (:

Hey Sunny,

Moving somewhere new must be difficult. Do either of your parents speak Arabic or have you guys moved somewhere completely new for all of you? If one of your parents speak Arabic then maybe you could ask them to teach you the basics. Or when you go out to do things for your mum you could ask someone in the shop to tell you what items are called in Arabic, if they can understand you to help you learn. Look online and see what you can find to help you, before you know it I'm sure you'll be able to hold a conversation with someone.

Maybe you could go on some long bike rides and find some new places to go. Find places you enjoy spending some time. It could help you to get to know locals as well if they see you around.

I wish you the best of luck.
