Private messages. - July 26th 2016, 12:49 AM

Hey everyone, hope ur all doing good. so this question is mainly for staff members unless u know the answer.
why is it that i can only view the pms i receive, not any of them that i send out? when they reply, sometimes the previous statement is quoted butnot always bc people tend to delete that part. i used to do that too.

is there a way to veiw the pms i send too?

Under where you see how many messages you have in your inbox, there's a box that says 'inbox (___)' Click that and you can change it to sent Let me know if you can't find it and I'll send you a picture.

There is a box that says 'Folder Controls' within that there is something that says 'Jump to folder' click on that and there will be something that says 'sent items'. You will click that and it will take you to your sent messages.

Hope that this helped.

I just want to add that the methods mentioned above will only work if your settings are to save Sent Items automatically. To do this, go to your User CP, then Edit Options, and scroll down to Private Messaging. Then make sure that the option to save a copy of sent messages is checked, and you're good to go.

Glad you were able to work it out! Since this has been sorted, I'm going to close this now.

There is nothing pretty about damage, about pain, about heartache.
What is beautiful is their strength, their resilience, their fortitude
as they display an ocean of courage when they pick through the
wreckage of their life to build something beautiful brand new,
against every odd that is stacked against them.” — Nikita Gill
