does anyone here speak italian? - November 18th 2009, 05:11 PM

ok, i'm getting a siamese kitten in the new year hopefully, i want to call it the italian word for sky because it's eyes will be blue. it's either that or the italian word for hope. so i need your help if you speak italian...
what is the word for sky and hope in italian?
and how do you pronounce it?
i've looked on the internet but don't trust it 100%, i trust people on this site more lol.

Sky is Cielo (Pronounced like chee - eh - lo).
Hope is Speranza (Pronounced sper -an -za).

Those are very similar to their Spanish equivalents Cielo and Esperanza, so they look right.
