How do I change my username?

I used to be Bethany, but then I changed my username and left the site. Well, I'm back now and I want my old name back, but I can't find the option to change it anywhere in the user CP. What am I doing wrong?

The option to change your username will appear automatically after the six months on you User CP.

To add to what Amy said: The settings were recently changed to allow you to reuse names after six months, so you will in fact be able to change back to Bethany in November.
