How often should you change your bed-sheets?

I change my sheets about every 2 weeks or so if I remember. I think you're just fine as far as how often you change your sheets.

Once a month. But I had a friend who would change her sheets every four days. I guess she is really picky about getting bed bugs, and germs.

I wash my quilt more then I change my sheet, it's gross I know but I don't think to do it.

Yeah I don't exactly have a "spare" set of sheets

So changing sheets for me means taking them all off when I get up in the morning, stuffing them all into several loads of laundry, and hoping I have enough energy at the end of the day to put them back on

The suggested amount that doctors say you should change your sheets is two weeks. One week is fine, but usually it should be two weeks. This is considering all of the bacteria that gets on your sheets and can cause infections. Also, before going in for a surgery, you should wash all of your sheets and make sure that they are properly put on. If not, you could get an infection and such from the bacteria, which would not be good. So, I say two weeks should be good. If before, then good for you.

I can't change mine as often, but when I do, I make sure that I do every bit of laundry twice to make sure that there is no more bacteria.

Aha this thread is making me itch.. god I don't know how you can go so long! What if you shower at night and then you get into a bed with bedding over a week old? I mean what was the point in having a shower!? I hope you guys all shower in the morning!! And god forbid you ever have anyone stay in your bed!

I take showers in the morning so it doesn't really affect me

Eh. I'm in college. We have loft beds. Changing sheets is a pain. And doing laundry costs money. So pretty much when they stop feeling nice to me. Maybe a little longer after. I have no idea what time frame this is, but I know when I was home the time frame was every couple weeks if not every week.
I have extra sets I keep clean, but like I said. It's SUCH a pain to change them. I haven't washed my duvet cover at all yet

or my soft blanket because it won't be as soft after. But those don't really touch skin so whatever.
My roommate and I try to change our sheets more than like, once a month. Because we don't exactly have a table, so we tend to eat on our beds

This is basically me. I used to have a single bed but now I have a double so I don't have many double sheets around to use.

I used to do it more often when I just had a single bed

I like to change my pillowcases every 2 weeks though and I change my quilt cover about every 2-3 weeks too.

Every 3-4 weeks. I try not to think about it though, otherwise I get grossed out and paranoid, then change them constantly.

I don't change them often I only wash them, and I wash my pillowcases and blanket and sheets altogether maybe ever 2 or 3 months. Once I waited until 4 months.

So, I'd probably wash and change them in a couple weeks near the end of April. I'll probably do it before I go to my parents' for Easter.
