Is it wrong to think your, quite decent looking?

I use to absoloutley hate the way i looked, like hate it, i use to end up sitting in the front of the mirror.. crying.
But the past few months i've began to feel like, okay, maybe i am pretty?
Dear god i hope this doesn't sound big headed..
I get compliments of people quite often, boys and girls and stuff, i don't think im the most beautiful girl ever, i mean, no way am i but you know, i still have my insecurities btw

Is it wrong to think im good looking? Its the only place i have self confidence now - so its a break through!
I feel guilty for thinking it :/

No, it's not wrong to think you're good looking. That's called self-confidence. Anyone can think they look good. It becomes a problem when it tell it to everyone with the intent of showing yourself off.

I don't think it's cocky or big-headed at all. It's healthy, how you're supposed to think of yourself. As long as it doesn't get out of hand where you brag about yourself or think yourself as higher than others. It's not cocky, it's being confident. It's good to think of yourself as looking good, gives you something to stand tall about. It's not pig-headed or anything along those lines, it's self-esteem, confidence and ability to go out without worrying how you look because you know you look pretty good.

Trust me, it's not bad at all I'm figuring this out more and more lately.

No it's not wrong. It perfectly fine to have confidence. It's a great thing.

I think it's fine as long as you don't MAKE it something. Like, I wouldn't go around saying to people "Oh, I'm so pretty" all the time. If you make how you see yourself really public, and often, then people might think you come off as conceited, but thinking you're attractive isn't a bad thing at all. In fact, I think it makes you MORE attractive. People will see it more if you believe it. I'm not afraid to say that I'm pretty, I know I'm prettier than a lot of people (of course, I don't go around saying that and I don't even have the highest self-esteem :P )

No it's actually good, I think I look really pretty but I don't go around saying it to everyone just joke around friends
But yes it gives you confidence and helps you when it comes to talking to new people.

It’s a huge confidence boost thinking positively about your self. There's nothing wrong with being happy with the way you look. Some people are overly in love with themselves in thinking they are in fact better then someone else which is wrong. Being happy in your skin is wonderful. Sometimes I think i'm ugly as sin. I have facial palsy on one side which makes me a bit lopsided sometimes and sometimes my hair is really crap. I have a boyish figure and am really short



But sometimes I have AMAZING hair! And sometimes I get my makeup just right and sometimes my figure is a blessing and being short is cute ^^


And people who can't see past all that stuff which could define me as 'ugly' are not worth it xx

People call it conceited, I call it self confidence. Whenever someone has a good day they are hot shit to themselves. There is not a single thing wrong with that. It's good you acknowledge compliments, it makes you a better person. I can assume you've had low self esteem for a while, and that still causes you to doubt yourself. In this case you should have no doubt that you really are pretty and there is nothing wrong with thinking that.

Of course it's not bad to think that you're pretty.
That is sooo much better than having low self-esteem about your looks, and as long as you keep it at a controlable and healthy level, it's not bad in the least bit.

Been down that road. It's perfectly normal. To put it bluntly, if everyone else likes the way you look, why shouldn't you? After all, your opinion on your own looks matters the most.
