I want to say i'm sorry. Recently some of my debate posts have significantly upset people. One user wont even accept my FR...
I was wrong to express my beliefs like that, I should have kept it to myself. I'm not used to hate on this site. I think i've wrecked any good reputation I had.

If people want personal sorrys I can do that. Just VM

Dont be sorry for sharing your views. Being able to say what you believe is something that is charrished by many; that people today and of the past have died over. It is an amazing thing for us to be able to that. Don't ever take it for granted.

Now as far as the thread you mentioned. I've read parts and bits of it and its like every other heated thread that happens in the "politics and debate forum". It turns into a "whos bigger" contest. One view against another. Then calling another persons view stupid and not needed. That the other person is a bigot. Then start calling each other names... blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah..

Honestly, I think everyone should STFU over there and step back from a minute. This is an internet forum. That was in the "politics and debate" section. It was on a touchy subject. So get over it. It happens. It's not the end of the world. It's one thread in the middle of thousands. It's one day in the middle of a million. Its one memory out of a billion.

Do you see where I'm getting at?

It's nothing to worry about. Take a deep breath. Understand it's ok for someone else to have differn't views then you. That being able to say whats on your mind and not be killed for it is something that so many people wish they could do, but cant, even in todays world.

Now everyone get into a politically correct hug circle, forgive, forget and move on.

I quoted this because I agree completely and I can't think of anything to add but i just wanted you to know that I got nothing against anyone's personal beliefs and you have the right to yours.

Don't ever apologize for what you believe in. No one else around here will/does. You are entitled to your own beliefs and feelings. AS is anyone else. Of course, there are respectful ways to show your feelings and thoughts. Who cares if those people don't like you anymore? If they don't like you because they don't agree with your viewpoint, then that's silly, and they're going to have a really hard time making friends in the world. We all think differently. No two alike. If you feel strongly about your beliefs, don't hide them. As long as your not disrespecting other people, and bashing them.. then it should all be okay.

I don't think I've read the thread you're mentioning, however, I can tell you a few things.
First, this is a petty teen Internet forum. People shouldn't get worked up over a difference in opinion to the point they act out. There's nothing you can do about that, it's their own fault.
Second, the fact you bolded stated your beliefs even when it opposed someone else is something I value because it shows your have proverbial balls and your success is not based on making some random person happy, especially given you probably have no physical connection.
Third, it's not a life-altering situation. If the person won't accept your FR, then fuck'em that's their loss. It's a miniscule event, it's too small to get worked up over.
Lastly, do not apologize. In my view, apologies are only meant if you know you screwed up and you want to mend wounds. You didn't screw up and neither did they, so there should be no apologizing.

I haven't seen the thread you are apologizing about, but, there is no need to apologize for expressing your beliefs and opinions in the debates section. I don't blame you for expressing your beliefs and opinions in the first place.
People need to get over that not everyone is going to have the same opinions as you, and that's nothing that can be helped.

Jem, don't apologize for how you feel or for what you believe in. Everyone here expresses themselves in one way or another and noone else apologizes. I don't see a reason for you to do so either. You seem like a genuinely caring person and I respect you for coming on the threads and apologizing, even when no one else has the courage to do so.. If some people don't like you, screw them. There are many other users on here who love you. Don't worry about it.

Definitely don't apologise for what you believe in! You're an individual, we all are, and we all think in different ways. You have a right to voice your opinion. And like others have said, other people won't be apologising for it. Posting in the debates forum can be tough and to be honest I think you're really brave for posting there. I rarely venture in. xD
