Man Cave for girls? - December 11th 2011, 08:44 PM

what do you think?

is it doable and still possible to make it as epic as a real man cave and have no evidence of females present how does one female make such a space?

O.o

Re: Man Cave for girls? - December 12th 2011, 06:53 AM

I told the fiance I want a woman cave when we get married. He told me that I have to stay in the kitchen. Jerk. (Haha, kidding.)
In all serious, though, I think it's totally possible for a woman to have her own space in her house. Right now, I have my own apartment so my entire living space is my woman cave. When I move in with the future hubby, I would like to have my own -comfortable- office space to work and relax. I envision... a desk space with plenty of organization, a "craft corner" for making/building/coloring/etc., and a big comfy chair with a bookshelf (for more entertaining books) as well as a TV and radio somewhere in the room. Lots of plants and a nice window, plus a lamp that allows me to change the amount of lighting in the room (mood lighting, ya know!)....

I suppose it all depends on what a woman wants in her woman cave, just as much a "man cave" isn't the same for every man.

My room is my girl cave. No one comes in unless I invite them, and I like it that way. And if I live with someone, I will have my own room, too. Everyone needs a place to feel safe and comfortable.

no no i don't want a GIRL cave...personally to me theres nothing cool/interesting about a girl cave
i like man caves because they're %100 masculine...
its kinda cool and relaxing cause it makes you feel like you can just kick back and throw away ambition...girl cave does nothing of the sort for me except make me feel like i have to clean every and make a list.
problem idk how to emulate a man cave its just not the same when i try to turn my room man cave esque probablly cause im not a man but anyone have tips?

My room is definitely my girl cave, as well as the TV room downstairs

Aight- from a dude- how a man cave works-

Take all your living neccesitys and passtimes and put them into a small scale oh, and get a comfy chair.

My man cave is in my closet. I have a lamp, a tv, a fan, and yeah, thats right, a minifridge all hooked up in there using extension cords. I have some provacitive posters on the wall and I sit in a foldable lawn chair with a body pillow on it. My closet shelves are filled with magazines both provactive and not and a bunch of nicknacks ive collected. Theres a soda bottle for piss and a trash can.A man cave.

To make a "female" man cave, all you really need to do is set yourself up in a space where no one can bother you and you can stay a few hours without needing to leave. The only difference would be the things you put in there that interest you. But, hell, im a guy so Im probably wrong, but I thought I would try to help.

I think you're missing the point of a 'man cave'. The entire thing is to have somewhere cool to get away from the constant interjection our nagging girlfriends/wives try to have in our lives, hence the whole "no girls allowed" theme. Otherwise it's just a rec room.

Just so you know... Women need to get away from their husbands too.

Just make a space where you'll feel comfortable and only you're allowed in. So don't put anything in which would make you feel like you want to clean or anything. If it helps, just call it your man cave, even though your female. You make the rules because it's your space.
