I'm not sure if this is the right place or not, so it can be moved if it fits better somewhere else..
I joined TH a month ago today, when I accidentally stumbled upon it. I was looking up the Butterfly Project which my friend had told me about the night before, and a link led me here. Joining this site has helped me out tremendously. Those of you who I have gotten to know or who have posted on my threads and given me advice, it has helped me tremendously to know other people actually care about my life and my struggles and are willing to help me. Those of you I haven't met yet, I greatly look forward to meeting you. Because of everyone here, I have gone from cutting myself everyday before.. to not cutting myself for 15 days as of today! I just wanted to thank you all for the help you've given me.

First of all, I just wanted to send a huge congratulations on being fifteen days self-harm free. That's a massive accomplishment, and I hope it will continue from here! It sounds like you're truly on your way to recovery.
And of course, I'm so glad that you've managed to find your own unique place here. It can certainly be a wonderful tool, and it sounds like you're taking advantage (in a healthy way!) of that! Hats off to you. (: Best of luck to you.  |
