What happens if you click it and what happens to the user if you click on the thumb on their post????

If you click that green thumb, that idicates that you like that post, find it helpful, think it's good, etc. It's much like the 'like' button on facebook. It esentially serves the same purpost. When you do click the green button, at the bottom of the post (the one where you clicked the green thumb), it will say: 1 user(s) liked this post or found it helpful.

Pretty much this and I believe if enough people like it, a box will appear that saying something along the lines of 'people found this post the most helpful' and will give you a link to go directly to it.
