Why is it that some members don't get any welcome message? -

How come some members are not getting welcome messages from the Buddies? Is it due to lack of staff and all?
P.S. I am not accusing anyone  I am just curious.

Honestly we try to give everyone a response within a reasonable amount of time however that's not the only duty a Buddy has. Sometimes its nice when regular members reach out to new comers as well. Teenhelp has always been a closely nit community and its always helpful when people reach out to others as well, whether that be to send them a Vm or spark up a conversation in chat. It all revolves around that friendly atmosphere we know love, which is Teenhelp and its entirety.
The Buddy position is to assist Teenhelp in keeping new members while being supportive of the ones we currently have. Applications for staff can be found here, currently there are about 100 members on the team but we'd like to be higher then that. Please if your interested fill out an application for the role you feel as though you'd be best at. Staff is wonderful and has many opportunities within it. If staff isn't for you then as a member just be courteous to others and that is a priceless quality most online communities don't have.

As the other said, there is often a large amount of members that join so we can't welcome them straight away, especially when not all the buddies are active for one reason or another but all members do get a welcome eventually and as said in a previous thread you've made, feel free to welcome members that haven't been welcomed yet if you wish
