Girls - how do you make your room smell nice? - January 25th 2012, 12:24 PM

I went in to my friend's room in my bf's flat the other day and her room smelled really nice and girly ... my room has never smelled like that and I dunno why! Does she just spray herself with girly stuff constantly or something?

I want my room to smell girly How do you girls do it?? haha

Glade plug-ins.

I am not a girl but my room is generally very very clean, dust free, and smells good.

I sometimes use scented candles and stuff too.

I'm not a girl... but my roof stays fresh by just me keeping the window open most times, even only slightly.

I use candles, wash my sheets regularly, remove all dirty clothes each day or use a clothes bin with a lid and sometimes use incense.

I keep my laundry away from my room, light candles on occasion, change my sheets regularly, and sometimes apply perfume while in my room. That keeps my rooms from smelling yucky.

I'm really into a clean linen smell, so I would suggest febreez, and linen candles. But I also adore other candles, like warm apple pie or vanilla. Plus, nothing beat fresh air. Open the window once in a while.

I leave my window open lots, although sometimes that can make your room smell a little too outdoors-y and not very girly. Normally I light incense, keep dirty clothes off my floor and change my sheets and things regularly, as well as clearing dirty dishes and stuff out.

"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it.
I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote,
“Dear Jim: I loved your card.”
Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.”
That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything.
He saw it, he loved it, he ate it."

I have a habit of leaving my plate in my room till I go back downstairs and dirty clothes and I've noticed that it tends to make my room smell but it's nothing leaving the window or the door open can't fix. You could try candles, plug in air freshers and things like febreeze maybe.

Yeah, I leave the window open during the warm months and try to keep it generally neat so it can smell all nice. :3 Then again, I don't really notice a scent in my room.

Well when I spray my perfume, I do it in my room, so it kinda smells like that But I also have decorative air fresheners.

I found this

http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Your-Bedroom-Smell-Good

's wikihow.

People say my room smells nice but I think I have gotten used to the smell and can't notice My window is almost always open, I use shake 'n' vac (well, a cheap, wannabe version ) before I vacuum and I sometimes light scented candles (I suppose you can buy girly smelling ones, I normally use cinnamon )

Potpourri is always nice

I do spray myself with body spray and perfume a lot throughout the day so it may be that too

Frabreeze does magical wonders. It kills orders and leaves a nice fresh smell.

I share a room with my two sisters. I'm not exactly sure if it smells girlly all the time, but we all have a ton of different perfume, fruit spray, and lotions we wear/apply, and well the smell tends to drift in the room for a while.

My friend likes to use candles and burn incense in her room, you could try that essence and candels can be fun to use, cute decorations, and smell so nice, pretty, & relaxing!!!

Sometimes all you need to do is sprinkle a little glitter on someone's raincloud to blend them a rainbow.

I'm not a girl, but I'm going to reply anyway. Who knows, maybe I would transform into a girl after this post.

I hide bars of scented soap around my room and my clothing drawers. They leave a subtle smell and last very long; they're cheaper than those air fresheners or whatever good-smell sprayer out there.

Plus, with scented soap bars, I can just throw them into corners and forget them. I won't have to keep spraying stuffs daily. We men are lazy, what can I say?

For my car, I keep an unopened box of fabric softener inside. Since it's still unopened, I can still use the sheets once the smell is gone (the sheets still work; the smell just no longer flowing out if I keep the box unopened).

I use scented candles and Febreeze.
Also, leave your window open, change your sheets regularly, and get all dirty laundry out of your room. Those things can help create a nasty smell, which you don't want.
