It's been 4 years :)) - August 8th 2017, 07:06 PM

It's been four years since I've had anorexia. I got it in 4th grade. I was like a walking skeleton. I could never bring myself to eat more than [EDITED] But, I tried. I really tried and decided that I would have 3 meals. It was so hard, one of the hardest things I've ever done, but I did it. I ate. From then I kept pushing myself to eat. Sure, I had off days, but I kept trying. I slowly gained more weight, finally becoming healthy (ish) again. I'm still underweight by quite a bit, but I am no longer skeletal and I can eat. What a relief it is to be able to eat. This is short but, it's my recovery story. And I'm damn well proud of it. PM me to talk!

Life's a tough b**ch, but you are tougher. Go show it who's boss. <lots of love and hugs>

I can't imagine what it must've been like for you to struggle with anorexia. It's a wonderful achievement that you are at a healthier weight! You definitely deserve to be proud of yourself!
