my gf made the commitment -

so girlfriend Ally who lives in ohio, has been cutting lately. so i talked to her tonight, because she was getting really strong urges to cut. i managed to talk to her about what's been going on lately. i also managed to make her stop thinking about cutting. then she made the commitment to stop cutting with my help. i'm very proud of her, and myself.

Sounds like you've done well for her. As long as you keep talking to her, and basically being there emotionally (since it sounds like physically is a problem), hopefully she'll keep up with the good work.
