CAMHS Appointment - June 8th 2009, 04:49 PM

Well after like a month or two of waiting, I finally have an appointment on the 18th which I'm in some way happy for but it just feels Dad's disappointed in me. He thinks its a step before the going to an asylum. School has tried to convince him otherwise but he still doesn't get it. I don't know what to do, I want to go but at the same time I don't want to since Dad has to drive me.

Faith,

Im sorry your dad is being that way but please try and forget about what he says. Im glad a CAMHS appointment has come through to you, hopefully they can help you. I am being seen at CAMHS and they are good. Could you get the bus up or is there anyone else who could maybe drive you there? If not then I guess you will just have to let your dad take you, this is something to help you and nothing to be ashamed of. Stay strong hun and I hope it goes well for you!

Good Luck,
Jen

He's the only one that can take me up there and it takes 20min to even get to the city nevermind find the hospital. Hence why he'll be even more angry because he doesn't see the point in this place.
