[Possible Self Harm Trigger] Why the hell is this! Its so annoying! -

RAZOR CUTS!!! Does anyone else find they just WONT stop bleeding! I had this old razor and I guess it was getting kinda blunt as I could basically shave my legs with no water on them even! In the shower I wouldn't even use soap and could do it in record time :P
I got a new razor and used it exactly the same except i sliced myself!  I didn't even realise until I finished that leg and had stinkin blood all down my leg. So I jumped out quickly, used about 5 tissues and it bled and bled, I put a huge plaster on it with tissue inside and it bled through that, FINALLY it stopped. The next night I tried again on the other leg (you can't have one spikey leg and one smooth one) and i promised myself i'd be careful I BLOODY CUT MYSELF AGAIN!  I was so angry and gave the razor a mouthful  Once again it kept bleeding grrrrr!!!  I haven't shaved again yet but its so frustrating! Does anyone else find this!!!??? I am a Proud Kiwi =)

I find that all the time!!
I haven't yet decided if it's just me, but I'm pretty sure I'm being as careful as I can be.. I wish I knew how to stop it, but like you've said, it may just be the fact its a brand new razor and I'm forgetting that maybe? Hmm.. My bleed like ***** cause I'm on blood thinners aswell

I don't really use razors but I've got experience in accidental cuts with metal , to stop the bleeding you must aply pressure so the flood stops, the reason you don't notive until later is because metal is mostly silent so you won't feel it until the cuts open.
If it gets really nasty maybe you should see another way to sahve your legs it'd solve the problems, or maybe if it's cause the razor is new tru to cut other things in other to "un-sharpen" it?   and I need your sway, cause you always pay for it and I need your soul, cause you're always soulfull and I need your heart, cause you're alwyas in the rigth places |

Try running deodorant over the cut. I'm serious, it can actually stop razor nicks from bleeding like crazy.

Ugh, and the worst part is when you get soap in it, then it stings like a little bitch.
 So glad it's winter and I don't necessarily have to shave my legs.

Yes! I have to say I've got better and the last few times I've shaved I've managed not to cut myself but it's so annoying when I do! Especially if you're shaving before a night out, planning on wearing bare legs then BAM. Cheers for that
I even heard your mamma wanted some of this...

I have the same problem, no matter how careful I am, I almost always manage to nick myself. Even the smallest cuts can be so so sore. Definitely must try the deodorant thing.

Goodness yes! Even now but I caught myself a zillion times when I first started shaving!
But no , the godamn things just bleed and bleed :/ I clamp it with tissue and it stops until you wash the stuck tissue off...  And it starts again!They just mock you "I don't hurt (out of water and soap) but I'll mess up your towels! Hehehe!"
