Trouble. -

Me and my mother never see eye to eye. But today was the straw that broke the camels back. SERIOUSLY.
You see, I have been looking to buy a car for sometime now. A used car. But seeing as I am not financially independent yet I am a bit reliant on her. She said she would pay half if I could. Under the conditions it would be a reliable, safe, low mileage car. I found all of those things today will driving by a used car lot. It was 67,000 miles, a 2007, nothing wrong with it and utterly perfect. So I called her up and she bitched me out. I am a broke college student who need to get back an forth from school, it was an affordable car and I just don't understand why she was so against it. It looks like I'll be car-less forever. Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.  |

I'm sorry to hear that but as said, you could try and speak to her about it another time, it could be that you caught her at a bad time so she didn't respond well so it's always worth bringing it up again and seeing what she says.
