Triggering (SH): Seriously?

This doesn't necessarily apply to me because I don't SH, but it's seriously bothering me.
So at school, the 7th graders aren't allowed to have zip up binders, only the open ones. And I have tabs and they hang out of my binder so when I'm carrying it, sometimes it scratches up my arm and leaves marks on my right arm.
Well I also like to wear the colorful rubber bracelets I get from Hot Topic.
This guy at my school, we have a few classes together. And our seating arrangement is where he is sitting next to me. We are good friends but this is the thing that bothers me. He occasionally makes fun of "emos" and how they "cut". He sometimes just sits there and mockingly "cuts" himself pretend and nonchalantly says "I hate my life" *cut* "I hate my life" *cut*
It's bull! Some people actually have problems that lead them to that!
It's not like he does it everyday but he's done it a few times and it utterly pisses me off! It's not like that! If he actually says that to someone who does SH, he's going to cause them more depression, or he's going to gt a tooth knocked out.
If he does it one more time I swear some shit is going to go down.

That's extremely insensitive of him. I mean, that's seriously NOT OK AT ALL!!! If you feel comfortable with it, you should talk to him. Just point out that it's a real problem that some people face and it's not something to joke about.
