Yeah, I definitely see how it can upset you that you've been trying so hard and still had to bomb it, but I'd say that this isn't your fault. Sometimes teachers just don't stick to the materials that they give. Is it too far into the year to change classes, or even just get some extra help every now and then just to make sure you understand what's going on? It can't hurt to double check.
