I am going to try my hand at my first poll here. lol. Do your parents know you get on TH?

No, they don't and I would rather keep it that way. TH is my own, personal place to go and if they knew they might look around and then I would feel unable to post anymore.

i set up an account on TH last year. stopped using it around october time and only just logged back on today :]
i have no reason to tell my mum or anyone i know i have TH. i set up this account for personal questions that i don't want to ask people i actually know, or just general discussions. i like the whole not knowing much about who im talking to and if someone i knew (especially parents) knew that i had an account, i would not feel comfortable to post here anymore.

They don't know about TH, no. They do know I help out on a website though, and they know about people that I have met on here, as I send/recieve mail to/from them. They don't know the website, though.

My mum knows, but she would never invade my privacy by searching for me. We trust each other.
I haven't told my dad, but if the subject ever came up I think I would.
My mum likes knowing I have an alternate support system when she's not around for me, and the fact that I help others. Win win

My dad knows I visit several forums, and he's seen me on this one in the past. I don't really care if he does or does not, he can even read all my posts if he wants but he trusts me.

My mum doesn't know about it, but then again she knows nothing about me.

I always get super panicky when they come in the room, so I imagine they suspect something, but TH would be the last thing on their list.

My dad is dead. And I created this account before he died. But I didn't really start going on it regularly (in fact I completely forgot about it until I checked my e-mail one day and some guy had sent me a spam pm.) until January. My mom knows because of an incident I had on here... and I told someone about it and they messaged my mom and my mom forwarded me their message and asked me to explain myself... So ya. She knows but I am pretty sure she doesn't really monitor me.

Yes they do, sometimes I use my dads backberry to come here I have a cool relationship with him.

My parents did not know at first. then my mum was reading through my e-mails and saw one from TH and it was a LH transcript and she liked that I was helping out people. Then when I told her about my issues, she 'banned' me from this site saying it was too much of an influence, so now they don't know I go on.

No, but tbh it wouldn't be a big issue if they knew. I think they'd be happy to have figured out one of the reasons I spend so much time on the computer

Everyone knows, lmao. My dad knows because I used his laptop to go on TH and he had some program set-up to remember what sites I use. Then my mom has seen it and she knows thats how I met Brittany. Um and now my sister knows, which she told me, she goes on TH every once in awhile and reads everything. So, knowing my luck, they will all read this. hahaha.

My parents don't know. They don't know much about what goes on behind the scenes with me in any case.

My Dad wouldn't mind so much though, I don't think. My Mum seems to think that anything on the computer/internet is a waste of time. I did mention trying to help people on a site once, just randomly in the passing, but she was distracted at the time so.. phew. But, yes, she'd think I was being negatively influenced by the people I meet on here too.

Which is so not true. Motivated, yes. Negatively influenced? No way.

My parents know that I spend a lot of my time on here 'helping' people. But, they don't know that I used to come here for help, and they don't know what I used to post about. They also don't know what sort of problems I help with

My parents can't work a computer. They "banned" me from facebook, then found out about it, and I guess forgot cause it never came up again. So really, I doubt me coming here would be of importance.

My mom didn't know that I became a member, but then she founf out when she found out because the doctor's told me, and I guess I told the doctor (?) but I don't recall that. I guess I was talking about it when I was hyped up on drugs. So yes, my mom knows. She doesn't like the idea of it at all. She tries to get me to stop using it, but I can't / won't / don't.

No one knew I was on TH until I'd been on it for about a year.
I didn't tell anyone directly though, they just kind of found out.
I thought it would be a big deal, but it honestly wasn't.

Yeah, my mom knows about it. I don't really think she favors the idea but she doesn't mind. It's really no big deal. Although she does have the idea that every single person on the internet is a predator, which isn't true for everyone.

No. I'm happy without them knowing too. They somewhat know about another forum I'm on though. Well, they know I'm on some sort of graphics site (the other forum) and talk to people a lot there.

I could be doing a LOT worse things online than coming here They may actually like the fact that I come here :/ never really thought about it.
