Healthy brownie recipe -
August 25th 2017, 12:39 AM
Hi there,
I was looking online for a healthy or low calorie chocolate brownie recipe because I'm trying to loose weight but couldn't find any. Does anyone have a healthy but TASTY recipe for brownies, or really anything sweet but low in calories?

I don't know how these taste, I haven't had the chance to make them yet. But I save a lot of recipes from Instagram, and I found a healthy brownie recipe that hopefully tastes good too.
Ingredients 1 cup overripe mashed banana or applesauce
2/3 cup nut butter of choice, or allergy-friendly substitute
1/3 cup cocoa powder
3 tbsp chocolate protein powder or additional cocoa
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup liquid sweetener of choice OR additional banana
Optional mini chocolate chips, crushed walnuts, etc.
Instructions Preheat oven to 325 F.
Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, stir until completely smooth, and spread into the prepared pan.
Bake on the center rack 20-25 minutes - they will be undercooked when you take them out.
Let cool, then loosely cover with a paper towel and place in the fridge overnight.
