Virtual Soccer World Cup game

Okay guys since this has been an awesome world cup year, because like ihave never really been that inerested in soccer.. but this world cup has just gotten me real interested and actually learning a whole lot more about the sport. Theres all of this fantasy sport stuff going around but like its all based on like real life stuff. What if we used the same teams but dont use real life results, how i get the results will remain a secret until later. Also I think we should make up some teams that dont exist in real life.

For those that are creating teams, let me know the name of the team, which confederation its gonna go through qualification under, AFC, CAF, UEFA, CONCACAF CSF or OFC. and in about a week or so we will begin with qualifications. Once thats finished with, we will draw for groups for qualification for each confederation.

If you dont want to create a team but want to play, for each game, you can pick a team as your chosen team, and if that team wins a game, you will score a point. If the team goes on to win the virtual world cup, you will score 10 extra points. At the end of everything, the one with the most points, will win that round. I am yet to think of a way to settle ties at the end.

To sign up, reply with the team you are supporting and if you are creating a team, message me the players list, Coach name, jersey number, position and overall stats out of 100 of each player, what colored jersey your team wears for home and away games, and then tell me if you are supporting that team or some other team.

This is going to include all the real life national teams and created teams if there are going to be any.

We will be underway hopefully in a week but if not two.

Okay guys we are going to do the UEFA qualification draw for the groups stage very soon. But you can still pick teams after we started, you just will not get points for the games played before you picked because otherwise it wouldn't be fair would it?


Note: I have looked up FIFA and each respective continent confederations rules on qualificatoin and decided that im not going to go with their rules, instead gonna do it my own way, but the number of seats in each continent will still be fairly same.

UEFA will get 13 spots
AFC gets 4.5
OFC gets 0.5
CONCACAF gets 4.5
CONMEBOLL gets 3.5
Africa will get 6

(I am not going to go with the host qualifying automatically thing because its too much work)


Theres still time to choose teams! So pm me or reply to this thread and i will make note of it. note that no two player may pick the same team .I forget to mention that if a team that wins a game is the chosen team of a lot of people, then the 1 point for the win will be split up between them. say if 2 people picked Germany to win in a game, and they do, each will 0.5 points.

Here it is! The draw for UEFA qualificaition!!! I am not using FIFA's rules or following any rules of any confederations (I find them to be rather complicated!)
so because of that, the draw, which im doing with a random number generator, to achieve randomness. which means that some of the strongest teams or weakest teams may be put together and cause some results that will be virtually unlikely in real life, but this is just a game and I'm trying as hard as I can without using the complicated rules of the real world. But Here we go!
