Now...Really? She seriously thinks that gaining that much weight won't hurt her? She says she wants to break the stigma that fat is bad, but she does it by trying to become the most morbidly obese woman in the world? I don't understand how her boyfriend can just let her do this to herself. They should know she's putting her life at risk, but nooo, he just keeps cooking her more and more food. I am seriously at a loss for words here, I have no idea what to say about this other than this woman has no brain, and neither does her boyfriend for that matter, because he's the one helping her do this. Seriously? There are so many causes out there that should be brought to the public's attention, but this isn't one of them. As you said, there are many health risks. Why not bring attention to those instead? No one is going to read that article & say "what a brave woman to gain weight for her wedding". Most people are going to think "is she crazy?"

Wow. There are better ways of breaking the fat hate thing, other than getting humongous. - I'm pretty sure that her boyfriend keeps feeding her because 1) he's an FA, and 2) he's probably afraid that she'll leave because if he doesn't agree with her on the weight thing she'll go find all her other fans who do want this.
I think that she's stupid to think that being that fat will do nothing for her, because there are a lot of health risks, especially for diabetes and high blood pressure... I seriously don't get why anyone would want to eat themselves immobile, I mean... I seriously have no more words to describe this at all. Millions of women struggle with their weight. For some of them, it's a true problem of obesity or similar issues. For others, it's an eating disorder or distorted body image. Someone who tries to put themself at a healthy weight and/or doesn't actively try to gain a clearly unhealthy weight level should have no shame in how she looks. But this woman really should be ashamed. It's appalling to do something so obviously dangerous, reckless and debilitating.

People make the choices they are going to make, even if they are ones that will surely kill them. This woman obviously believes she can successfully gain Edited. She believes that food is a huge part of her relationship with her fiance, and she may have an eating disorder.
But she's happy with her life, and as crazy as everyone knows she is, that's what matters most to her and her fiance. In a weird, grotesque way, it's nice to see someone heavy talking positively about their weight. I get tired of every woman who isn't a stick talking about how fat and unattractive they are. I can't even read this, it disgusts me. She's not getting rid of the stigma surrounding 'being fat', she's being stupid and promoting unhealthy obesity.

Well, it's a change to the brides to be who try and lose weight to fit into their wedding dresses. I can understand that she is trying to make people see that fat isn't bad but I think being morbidly obese and putting your life in danger cause of your weight is bad and the fact that her husband to be and sister are pretty much supporting her is so stupid.

I bet it wouldn't be nearly as big of a deal if she was trying to become the skinniest bride. Then it would be defined as an eating disorder and everyone would feel sorry for her. But because it's the opposite, she's automatically insane. I'm not saying it's normal to want to be the fattest bride in the world, it definitely isn't, but in a weird kind of way at least she isn't ashamed of her weight, and at least she has found someone who loves her regardless of her clothing size. Weight is not the most important thing in the world, and it's not fair that it's totally normal to want to be skinny, but completely insane to want to be overweight. That kind of irritates me.

That is one nice Funeral dress. I guess being buried in a coffin during Summer with sleeves and in black would get pretty hot... good thing she swapped it for sleeveless & white.

I swear to god, if my tax dollars to any of her obesity related illnesses, I'll kill her and bury her myself.
Often I lie wide awake, thinking of things I could make. But I don’t seem to have the parts to build them. I am so scared of what will kill me in the end, for I am not prepared. I hope I will get the chance to be someone, to be human.   |

While her intentions are good and unusual to say the least, I'm struggling to understand how she has convinced herself there are no medical risks. Part of this seems to be a personal goal because she's dead set on literally weighing 3/4 of a tonne and fitting into a XXXXXXXXXXL sized dress. She's heavy and large enough as it is to make her point.
I can rip you off, and steal all your cash, suckerpunch you in the face, stand back and laugh. Leave you stranded as fast as a heart-attack.

Oh dear Lord... Help this woman.
 I'm not saying being overweight is bad, it's just that making a point to be morbidly obese is overstepping the bounds of sanity a bit. The poor woman will suffer health problems all the rest of her life. And fat, not bad? In small amounts, it isn't that bad; as long as you can still lead a good life, and aren't in danger of illness. But being morbidly obese is bad, regardless of what this woman thinks. She's mad. This is where record-breaking encouragement needs to stop. Record-breaking is all fine and dandy, until it endangers the health of the participant(s). There shouldn't be awards for being unhealthy. "The left wing said they'd abolish poverty.
