This is making me cry... I'm so scared for them. Some of the gunmen are still out there.

There have also been bombings in Lebanon and Russia over the last couple of days.

"I don't care about politics"
Then politics doesn't care about you either. Truth. You've got to make your voice heard, if you want to be listened to. But that's too logical for some people, so let me go a step further. Not making your voice heard, leaves other people free to hijack it by speaking on your behalf, even if they don't actually give a shit about you. That's politics. So, make your voice heard. That's not a quote from anywhere. That's just me.

This is so sad. I hate that people think this is okay. It is not!

Re: #PrayforParis - November 14th 2015, 09:55 PM

I very strongly would support locking up anyone who voices any kind of support for ISIS within EU borders. Be it on TV, radio, street corners, or facebook. Round them up, lock them up, and put them to work so that at least their incarceration pays for itself. And I wouldn't give a shit what their background is, or what reasons/excuses they have. Turn it into a business, like the EU carbon tax. Well deserved. Democracy belongs to people who understand and respect it, not those who laugh and spit at it, and see it as a "weakness" to be exploited.

I'm sick of showing any kind of tolerance or respect towards people who show none to anyone else. And naivety is not an excuse. The only leniancy I'd be willing to grant would be for minors, and it wouldn't be a lot of leniancy either.

Things are getting to the point where they can't be much worse. I'm sick of UK police responding to emergency calls in 2 hours or not at all, because apparently their budgets are cut to deal with terrorism threats instead. I'm sick of the growing numbers of yobs in the streets because the police lack resources to step on the hoodrats (don't look at stats, more often people aren't even bothering to report crimes anymore). I'm sick of the increased surveillance because of these fucks provoking everyone all the time. I'm sick of how much money is being spent on "defensive measures". And I'm sick of seeing them in the news all the time and seeing how much they are still allowed to get away with. And most of all, I'm sick of some individuals making excuses for these fucks, and that it's apparently "America's fault". Everything is America's fault according to some people... no, sorry, not "people"... idiots. It's "America's fault" that France got bombed. Like it's a woman's fault she gets raped for walking alone in the evening. For fuck's sake.

The problem isn't those 8 maniacs who went on a rampage in Paris. The problem is all of them, from top to bottom. Every "leader" of theirs shouting threats in some online video and waving an AK about, and every single piece of shit who looks up to fucks like them and says "ISIS FTW" on twitter, and every delluded cretin making excuses for them, by blaming it on "America" (most commonly). Or blaming Russia. It doesn't really matter who they blame, because they'll always find someone.

Is there any other extremism in modern history which is as notorious as Islamic extremism? Not even close. They have by far surpassed any extreme-Christian or right-wing movements combined, in brutality, manpower, fame, and wealth. I want them all destroyed (not just ISIS, all their terrorist groups) and purged out of the EU without 2nd chances, I want their supporters dismantled and incarcerated indiscriminately irrespective of their backgrounds, and I want their leadership killed by drone strikes from across 3 continents. Even if this would mean putting 10 million people behind bars, I'd stand by it, if they were to even utter one word of support for ISIS, out of anger, and got overheard by others/recorded or published on the internet.

Too much "tolerance" of intolerant people.

There is positives in all of this, BuzzFeed shared this, here is the link. As much as the pain goes on, there are those who did survive and that told their story. Very brave.

This sort of thing angers me. And makes me question the human race. Also ISIS is a small minority of people compared to the what 6 or so billion people in this world so why as a global movement can we not all band together stand up to them and show them that they cannot keep doing this. How many have to die and suffer before something is done ? how many more shootings, bombings, terroist attacks do there have to be before we as a globe do something ?

My thoughts and prayers go out to who was affected by this. I know that I heard it on the news and got very upset/worried because I have friends who live in and near Paris as well as extended family who were thankfully all safe at home when these horrific events were occurring.

I hope that the people responsible pay for what they did as well as anyone who supports ISIS because there is no reason for this amount of violence. It's so saddening that this is what the world has come to.

Damn, beat me to it.
France is bombing ISIS' capital (Raqqa, Syria). Why doesn't America ever bomb the capital? I understand the strategy of containment, and the fact that we don't want ISIS' territory to spread, but completely obliterating their capital would crush their morale. We're capable of doing it, so why don't we?

Just because it is not in the main media doesn't mean we aren't fighting ISIS. We bomb them all the time (years before Paris happened), it's just not talked about as much.
