Vote Remain (EU vs UK) - June 21st 2016, 10:28 AM

Exactly my thoughts:

I've got too little time to off and say what I have to say. The video in the posted link pretty much said most of what I think.

Then politics doesn't care about you either. Truth. You've got to make your voice heard, if you want to be listened to. But that's too logical for some people, so let me go a step further. Not making your voice heard, leaves other people free to hijack it by speaking on your behalf, even if they don't actually give a shit about you. That's politics. So, make your voice heard. That's not a quote from anywhere. That's just me.

And a continuation...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pc2W6HuwQeo

My only major comment is that it wouldn't look much different if the right and left swapped roles, and the other side had the larger stick to hit their opposition with.

Doesn't make either side right. Be better than that. That kind of behavior is precisely what makes people turn against you. We've seen it happen to the right wing. And it is happening to the left wing too now in a broader context. It is why Trump is doing as well as he is. Why conservatives are in power in the UK, and UKIP are probably the 3rd largest party now. Why across Europe right-wing politics is starting to dominate.

Some people might be surprised to hear this from me, but I don't want the the left wing annihilated. They have important things to say, and play an important role in keeping a "balance" of arguments, like a 2nd opinion. I've seen idiotic arguments on the right, which have made me feel like going for a 1 hour run at 3 in the morning. The left is needed to fight that bullshit sometimes, as is the right needed to fight some bullshit which the left comes up with. But people on any side of the political spectrum, acting like fools/extremists, then blaming their own actions on other people... are shooting themselves in their own foot.

If the guy who murdered Jo Cox knew how much damage he would cause to the "Vote Leave" campaign, perhaps he would think twice before killing her. Think about that. He has achieved absolutely nothing constructive, from a rational, or ethical point of view, for his "side" of the debate.

You don't get your point across by throwing hysterical tantrums like 5 year olds who didn't get an X box for Christmas, or even worse, 5 year olds armed with guns (referring to example in previous paragraph).

Well, what now?

Wish I lived in Canada. UPDATE, NOV. 9th, 2016: This statement has become even more appropriate.
I vow that I will attack this endeavor with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind. Jim Harbaugh
