History made in Canada - July 4th 2016, 03:44 PM

Yesterday, the Prime Minister of Canada made history by being the first Canadian Prime Minister to walk in the gay pride parade. I think this is fantastic and I'm proud to have him as my leader. The pride parade in Toronto was yesterday.

Re: History made in Canada - July 5th 2016, 04:26 PM

Justin Trudeau has been more active in events that matter to Canadians, that is who he is and what makes him stand out from the rest. He also follows a lot when his father was a PM.

He also interacted with Syrians on Canada Day on Parliament Hill and asked how they felt celebrating Canada's 149th Birthday.

The fact he was in the the Pride Parade shows what kind of leader we have, he doesn't just travels making decisions on how the Country will run he wants to know what Canadians feel is important to us.

It's a positive step forward for Canada and I hope to see more of it.

I think he's a wonderful leader for Canada. I wish more politicians can be like him; especially American politicians, those in Congress, the GOP, the President... anyone that has some sort of power over the country or politics.

He has done a lot of things that have made me proud to live here in these past few months. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of Canadians everywhere.
