I want a refund. Now.

Often I lie wide awake, thinking of things I could make.
But I don’t seem to have the parts to build them.
I am so scared of what will kill me in the end, for I am not prepared.
I hope I will get the chance to be someone, to be human.

1) This is part of the reason why i don't give money to the "Save this Cambodia child for only a dollar a day" programs. There are many many many very worthy causes to fight here on our own damn soil.

Spoken by Jesus himself

Quote:
"Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but(D) do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when there is the log in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye." (Matt 7:3-5 ESV)
Yes, I am quoting scpriture...and while we are at it.

2) I've heard of cerimonial feet washing...now are we doing cerimonial cock washing to remove our lustsful sins after making ourselves unclean in the comfort of my own sex swing? (Yes I know cleanliness is good and all, but seriously? Teach yourselves to wash under your foreskins.)

"One of the things I regret the most of being able to imagine anything,
is having to fear nothing"

They just refuse to believe that they can do anything about it."

but nonzero chance of doing the impossible,
what is stopping us from doing the same thing?"

Not like the stimulus as a whole was that great an idea to begin with.

... This is a joke, right?

How the fuck is a bunch of Africans learning how to scrub their junk (which anyone should know how to do already), instead of letting Natural Selection get them (Seriously, if you're that incredibly stupid, you'd be dead if other countries weren't bailing your asses out), more practical than using tax dollars to, oh I don't know, STIMULATE THE STRUGGLING ECONOMY?

As Guile illustrated, I'd facepalm, but this does that for itself (unlike crotch scrubbing).

I disagree. The original economic stimulus was about putting money back into the tax-payers' hands. By doing so, they're bound to spend that money again. Recirculating currency is an important maneuver in helping the economy.

I was pissed when Obama decided that the government would take care of the distribution of the economic stimulus rather than giving it back to the people. The government thinks they can spend money better than I can? Is this supposed to be an example of that? Surely not... This act of stupidity is a PRIME reason I was pissed about the government handling the stimulus in the first place.

Oh wow. Really? We should DEFINITELY get refunds. I know I'm not old enough to pay taxes yet, but our family could use the money to stimulate the economy!

Is it really that hard? That the USA has to spend $823,200 on it?

I guess I am in between on this one. It is important to wash in that area, and it sounds like these men in Africa don't know how to properly do that. So, should we render aid to people and educate them about proper sex and hygiene? Yes. Should we be spending THAT much on it? No.

I'm not quite sure how to respond to this.....why would you need 800 grand to teach men how to wash their genitals? O.o

Putting money back into their hands through massive deficit spending on the part of the government?

Money moving around doesn't create wealth. Production does. Pass a $100 note between you and a mate a few times and see how much wealthier it makes you.

And yes I know this is a bit off topic, but I mean, is there really that much more to say on the original topic of "should the government spend a million dollars teaching africans to wash their members y/n?"
