Exclamation Economy is scaring me - October 9th 2010, 05:50 AM

I'm at two companies over at Warner Brothers. News articles came out about how both of them are falling behind. At one of them, like a couple seconds ago I found out the head of development who I was basically working for was let go. Since I work at home for that one company I have no fucking idea what that means for me. I respond to a different person now, but still - it feels like those three weeks of work were for nothing since I basically feel like a "ghost" at that place now and I'm beyond fucking rattled by that. Shit, this economy - everything's falling apart. And I know something happened because the last time I was there, he was genuinely well settled in with the position. I could tell that something was going on this week though, I just had no idea that it would end like this...

This was just a rant but, god I want to be a kid again - life was easier then, now it's like... I dunno man, like walking over easily breakable glass and hoping the floor doesn't give way. The adult world is not a good place to be in right now...

Perfect scene from Wall Street 2:

"Luis, are we going under?"
"You're asking the wrong question Jacob."
"What's the right question?"
"Who isn't."

"Maybe I just like people. Maybe sexuality isn't one thing or the other. Maybe it's just something that's shifting and moving. I just know I'm not thinking man or woman."
- SHAMELESS.
