Guilty:( - April 19th 2015, 06:01 PM

I have done so many bad and terrible things in my life. But a year and a half ago I became a Christian and have my life to Jesus. I confessed to him and have stopped everything I used to. Has Jesus forgiven me for my past? I now try and help people and try to be kind to everyone no matter what

That sounds like a goon plan, love. Eventually, or even now I'm sure he's forgiven you of your sins of the past, everyone makes mistakes and everyone can get through them. Nobdy is perfect. You still have time in your life to make up for the sins and such. I bet you over all you are a great person!

I'm going to move this thread to Religion & Spirituality, I think you'll get more related responses there.

I'm not a Christian so my perspective might not be as accurate as that of practicing Christian, but my understanding of the basic teachings of Christianity is that anyone who accepts Jesus and henceforth lives a moral life in line with that of Jesus himself is forgiven and saved. Either way, you shouldn't feel guilty, whether that guilt is religious guilt or guilt you feel on your own behalf. Everyone does the wrong thing at some stage. Living life is supposed to be a learning curve.
