The Lord God is amazing

I have had a difficult 5 years. Many ups and many many hard falls.

But God has found me and saved me. He has given me strength and shown me the light then guided me till I reach the light.

I fell badly in September and relaspsed. I let the demens inside of me win, I gave in to satan, but I prayed and God saved me.

I have never been closer to God as I am right now. I am suscribed to preachingplace777 on Youtube and whenever I feel like I am loosing God I watch a vidio and I am filled with joy and power. Brought to tears feeling God coming to be and being close to me.

The Holy Spirit is in me. Jesus Christ died for me and you, for all of us, to save us. And God the father protects me.

I am not baptised, but I will be. My family are 99% Athiest. But I have found God, I am not the preaching type, but the way I am feeling right now, the unexaplinable sudden recovery and warmth I feel in me right now thanks to the Lord God I had to share.

So if you are feeling lost. Pick up and read the Bible. Get down on your knees and pray.

For the Lord loves all , He is willing to forget all of your sins and welcome you.

I believe, I praise and I love the God and this post was showing my thanks to the Lord for all He has done for me.

Honestly, I'm not religious or anything. I've tried to have a relationship with God but depression kicked my butt and I gave back in. But you are really an inspiration. I'm so glad you've picked yourself back up again and you've trusted God enough to give Him your life. I also respect you for the fact that you don't let your family (being Atheist and all) influence your beliefs. Keep on going strong. I absolutely loved this thread! I've been in a really similar place lately -- the place where Satan is kicking my butt and taking over. This was really inspiring for me to read and it reminded me that God IS there and that He is walking through this with me. Congrats on the coming baptism too! That's so exciting!

A verse I think of when it comes to overcoming sin is Genesis 4:7, "If you do what is right will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door, it desires to have you, but you must master it." I imagine it as sin isn't knocking on the door like a saleman. Sin is kicking, screaming, pounding on the door, grabbing the door knob and pushing and pulling it just to try to get to you. It wants you that badly and there is 100% no good in it. But...you must master it. Jesus even overcame death so there is nothing that can stop Him. We have Jesus on our side if we choose to let Him. Great post and if you want to talk just let me know.

Our Papa is really amazing isn't He? When I was in my worst places with my depression He always found ways to intervene and save my life. He once even spoke to me, although I can't remember if the voice was a specific voice. I know it wasn't my own head though, it was definitely Him. He told me that I had a purpose and a place here and that He would use me. I felt peace, even through my depression, and the warmth I felt was incredible. <3
