New and hoping for support :) -

Hi, My name is Kate. I just joined several sites in attempt to finally get some help with self harm and my depression. I have been struggling with depression since I was about 12. I was bullied a lot in middle and high school but never really did anything about it, I would just cut myself. My high school years were full of very unstable relationships, and pretty much resulted in me losing any self esteem I had. I go to a psychiatrist and am on anti depressants, but it just doesn't fully do the trick. I wanted to try some of these sites so I could talk to people and build positive relationships, and hopefully start being able to feel more better about myself. I find myself having to constantly hide the fact that Im depressed in order to not make anyone in my life feel bad, and I knew on these sites I could be myself
 I hope to make many friends here!
