Hi, I'm new on this site and i know im starting off a little strong for my first post, But i need to know that someone is there for me. What i mean is I've been struggling the past 2 years with self-harm. The first couple times i have done it i thought that that would be it. little did i know that it would turn into an addicting habit. Sure, i need to stop, but i'm to afraid to speak up to my mom. she knows i do it, well she used to. she currently assumes that i've stopped when im far from it. I just gave myself over 40 cuts last night, and im not on here to brag about anything or get attention, trust me i'm not. i just want someone that i can talk to. Preferably over Facebook because i don't really know how i feel about this site. I don't want to freak out my mom and cause her to worry. She is currently un-employed and it's just the two of us in our apartment and i don't want to stress her out. I just want someone who can relate to me and someone who i can talk to. If there is someone, anyone out there around the age of 15 or so that i can talk to, please message me. if you have a facebook (since i cannot put a link on here because im new, just go to facebook and put /iloveyouamandanicole after the .com part of facebook) Thanks for listening.

It's perfectly fine that you aren't sure about this site yet, but don't rule it out until you get used to it. This is a wonderful community where everyone is close, so I'm sure you will find it easy to warm up and get to know everyone here. Just give us a try. Hi! Welcome to TH! I'm Amalia, another buddy here. Everyone is here for each other. Look around the forums and see, that really it's true. We all come from different backgrounds and have experienced different things and been in different situations, and by bringing us all together, it creates the TH community.
