A World Without You: A poem for my future boyfriend -
March 11th 2014, 06:09 PM
A NOTE: I do not currently have anyone in my life who make me feel this way(the position is open). However, this poem is a combination of how I felt with my ex and how I hope to feel with someone in the future.
You can turn my world
From gray to bright
When I’m stuck in the dark
You can turn on the light
The days I’m crying
You make me laugh
You might not know it,
But you’re my other half.
I just can’t live a life
Where you aren’t mine.
‘Cuz honey when you’re with me
I’m so much more than fine.
I would climb ev’ry mountain
I would cross every sea
Sweetheart, without you,
I’m no longer me.
You’re my air, my oxygen.
Your love keeps me warm.
You’re the rock in my life
The shelter in my storm.
And I just can’t imagine
A world without you.
I don’t know if I could live
In a world without you.
Don’t make me live
In a world without you.
I am the one who loved you. I am the one who stayed. I am the one and you walked away. I am the one who waited, and now you act like you just don't give a damn. Like you never knew who I am.

I really like this, even though it doesn't apply to anyone right this moment.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not really happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
