Why I am a hermit...
Once upon a story lived a teeny tiny mini fairy,
That teeny tiny fairy was open and welcoming to everyone,
Holding her arms open for everyone,
Caring and being there for them,
That teeny tiny fairy grew up not like most fairies.
One day the teeny tiny fairy opened herself up more,
She began to see everyone the same despite where they came from,
Judging another wasn't something she did,
Being in other fairy wings she understood everyone's fairy life.
Once upon a teeny tiny fairy,
Teeny tiny fairy was thrown down the tree and broke her wing,
A wing she needed to fly with,
A wing that held her up throughout all the hardships.
Suddenly it changed for this teeny tiny fairy,
She no longer felt opening her wings to everyone to be safe,
The broken wing hurt and she hurt inside,
What she believed in changed and she struggled.
Teeny tiny fairy began to not trust:
Lady bugs and,
Teeny tiny fairy felt it wasn't safe to trust them anymore,
Struggling to fly with a healing wing,
Flying away hurt and suffers from chronic broken openness,
Struggling to fly to that tree she once was at,
Her wings would stop fluttering where she is unable to lift herself up,
Unable to fly to her favorite tree atop, far atop.
Teeny tiny fairy still struggles trusting others,
Others who isn't also a fairy like herself,
Her wing still is broken,
She is no longer the once Teeny Tiny Fairy anymore.
Maybe I'm foolish Maybe I'm blind Thinking I can see through this Take a look in the mirror And what do you see Do you see it clearer
Some people got the real problems Some people out of luck Some people think I can solve them
I'm only human I make mistakes Don't put the blame on me
I think this is my favourite piece from you so far. I love the way you used a fairytale-type story to convey real emotions and act as a metaphor for life. Thanks for sharing, and as always I look forward to your next post.
