I'm looking for some input on this old poem
Apprently I wrote this on 4-28-10 You call us a family we see each other everday I know your names and most of you recognise me, at least. But do I belong? We don't act like a family I can't imagine one of you hugging me. Or taking my hand as we sing. I don't have the courage to call you on this. So you may call me bitter when I say I don't you at all And that we aren't family Because family give a damn when one of you cries and we can admire each other selflessly without envy There's no love. I don't know them, and they don't know me. |
