A tear beneath my eyes,
hiding very low, but I put on a gray smile, so no one will know. I say nothing's wrong, but you know me too well. You know I'm keeping something and will not tell. Still I don't speak. You just stare at me in wonder. But instead I hide and listen to the thunder. Secretly, when no one's near, I cut myself open and stare in fear. Blood drips. All the secrets I've kept, spill out, until there's nothing left. |

Hey Cassidy,
This is a very emotional poem. The imagery really allows the reader to experience all the feelings behind it. I particularly enjoyed these parts: Quote:

I agree that this is emotional. I was able to feel everything that you were writing about, and enjoyed the part where it says:

It is really good, I feel that way right now.
