New song I wrote. I might record it soon, don't really know. Made for the Acoustic Guitar w/ a gentle finger picking pattern, except for the end.
Verse 1: The bitter winds of winter had come And with it came the snow The flakes dancing to an unknown song And putting on a festive show I set out at once to find her To see if we could have a go I sought her out and we went for a ride No one else, and to say hello The day went by and I wasn’t the same She did this to every guy A gentle friendship that lasted an age And the spark would never die Chorus: She’s the extraordinary girl There’s nothing of her kind And she’s the sparkle in my eyes She’s the sun’s setting purple haze The warmth of a summer’s day Her only limit is the skies Verse 2: Then spring came and the flowers bloomed The sun warmed up the earth We would walk all day barefoot in the grass Every step an unlimited worth Just me and her was all that that mattered In the sun and blowing breeze I need her and she needed me That’s all the matters in days like these And even though she was no lover of mine I felt the need to kiss her cheek She had given me hope, she had given me pride She had saved me from the bleak Chorus Bridge: Now I could see that there’s nothing I could do If I wanted her gone, which I didn’t want It’d be the death of me to even try She’s addicting and I will not withdraw She’s made me the person I am today And I will never say goodbye Verse 3: Cicadas start crying And the evening air grows thick Laying there in a triangle form A soothing song seemed to do the trick We never thought the moment would come When we would have to say goodbye It seemed like the day was a year of our time But deep inside we knew we had to try So we went our own ways Saying “We’d do it again someday” So I’m waiting for the millionth time There’s no way I could pull away Chorus x2 w/ a key change (Freaking ADORE Key Changes :3) What do the peoples think? Feedback would be lovely

Julian,
This is a really beautiful song! You are a very talented writer, and as I would imagine, a talented musician as well! It's extremely sweet that you wrote this about the girl you like. I hope things work out!
