Most recent piece. Can't say I care for it all to much myself, at least as a whole. But I love the last four lines too much to not share.
"Wipes away the tears,
Caused by direct connection with her fears, Swallows the lump in her throat, Forcing herself to not choke, On the words that she finds around, That attempt to make her drown, Raises her eyes to the light, Takes a deep breath, gets ready to fight, Against the undertow, Against what life has in stow, Supressing the thoughts, Of every hope turned faux, Pushes away the emotion, Tries to drown out the commotion, Rattling around in her head, As she forces herself out of bed, This depression she's found herself lost in, She just can't seem to comprehend when it'll end, It can't be out run, she can't escape, Maybe this is just her sickening fate, A bitter fight with the person in the mirror, Tooth and claw just to see which side is clearer, The image cast in darkness, smothered by lies, Or the image no one else sees, the girl who is strong enough to cry" ♪♫"The mirror only shows The shell of what's below You can't go on suffering The illusion of control It's time for letting go You can't go on suffering And now you know Now you know"♪♫ 'Now You Know' - 2Cents Things get better.
