pain from hitting cervix? - February 7th 2017, 03:26 AM

girls, do you feel pain in your lower abdomen when having sex? or masturbating with anything that could hit the cervix?

i know i've posted about this before but it came up again and now i'm all sorts of terrified and anxious so yay.

i don't recall feeling intense lower abdominal pain during sex.. there's pressure on my cervix when he's at his deepest point, but never really any immediate pain associated with it.
however, today when using my dildo, i wasn't really "warmed up" before hand, i was just bored and decided to use it. so i'm assuming since my vagina hadn't extended or whatever, like it does when you're aroused, then the dildo kept hitting my cervix too hard or something.
because i felt this intense, horrible abdominal pain shortly after starting to use it, and the pain didn't go away until after i stopped using it and climaxed a few times.

i still felt a little nauseous afterwards, and even a bit still right now. this was like two hours ago.

i have a tendency to think the worst, so i just keep thinking Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. however, my tests for chlamydia/gonorrhea came back negative (though they were taken a day after i got a new sexual partner, so they're probably not accurate with him. but i'm pretty sure he's clean as well.)
the doctor wanted me to get an ultrasound for abdominal pain last month, but i never did as the abdominal pain went away after my period. (pretty sure it was just intense period cramps, and i was overreacting because i was, again, thinking the worst, due to having a new sexual partner.)

i do have constant nausea lately as well, which is another symptom of PID. however, it's difficult to judge, because i took ella and option 2 (two brands of emergency contraceptive) the last full week of January, and i also started birth control pills that week. and now, it's five days from what SHOULD be my period start date, but it will obviously be affected because of all the pills. there was some light bleeding the other day when i used my dildo, but i'm thinking (hoping) that's just the spotting in-between pills that everyone talks about. and also, because of all the hormones i got what i think is a yeast infection (the yeast infection medication i'm using seems to make it go away so at least it's working). so there's just a lot going on and i don't know.

i just wish i could know 100% that everything is okay.

i don't know what i'm supposed to do

Hi Jess,

I'm sorry you haven't received a reply yet! I believe when I was younger my cervix would hurt whenever I would have intercourse. The main cause could be that your partner might be going a little too hard or rough. So I recommend that you go to see a doctor in regards to this just to make sure that everything is okay. When using your dildo without 'warming up' it might be because you weren't aroused enough for it to go in smoothly. Maybe next time try a bit of lube to see if that would help?

However, I do think that you should highly consider going to see a doctor to see if there is a chance that you have Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. However, try not to think about the worst case scenario.
