Hey,

What are the chances of pregnancy if you were going to have sex but stop after only the head went in and there was no ejaculation and you took the morning after pill about 14 hours after? I got drunk this weekend and was about to have unprotected sex but then after afew mins realise what I was doing. I'm also on the pill but I no I missed a few this month and don't always take it at the same time.

This has really upset me as I'm normally so so careful as I know I wouldn't cope with being pregant. Its stressing me out so much, I'm not sleeping well and its affecting my revision. I'm also going on holiday with my mum in a week and I'm worried that thinking about this is going to spoil it. It's too early to do at test but even if I could I wouldn't want to do one until I got back from my holiday.

I'm so cross with myself and am not going to let this happen again, I just want to no what the chances are?

Hey there,

If you took the morning after pill, then the chances that you are pregnant are very, very slim. Try not to stress so much. If you're still worried in about two weeks, take an at-home pregnancy test (or go to the doctor and take a blood test after five days).

if there was no ejaculation and you are certain he didn't ejaculate them you can't be pregnant because no sperm was released to fertalise and egg. no ejaculation=no sperm=not pregnant

I thought you could still get pregnant as there is sperm in precome?

Pre-cum, a clear liquid released from the penis when a man is aroused, can sometimes contain sperm. This is why there is a (extremely slim) chance that a woman could get pregnant without ejaculation.

It's not a reliable form of birth control, you CAN get pregnant.

But to the poster, since you are on birth control and you took the morning after pill fairly quickly, there is very little chance you are pregnant.

The only way sperm would be present in precome....is if the guy ejacalated before sex and did not go to the bathroom after ejaculation and before sex, in that case there would still be some sperm. otherewise there is not sperm in precum.

There is a very very tiny chance you could be pregnant since he didn't ejaculate and you took a morning after pill, so relax. If you don't get your period if it's due soon, then it might be from you getting stressed over this (trust me, mine's been late ever since I started having sex because i'm so stressed over maybe getting pregnant. it always comes but it's always a week or two late because I freak out about it.
