Wet dreams? - September 28th 2010, 12:55 PM

Hi guys - was looking around the forum for a similar topic, but there wasn't reall one so I decided to post it.

Well, what I *think* I know about wet dreams is that they occur when you have excess semen to get rid of, etc.

I just had some curious questions about it.

If it at all matters - I'm 15 years old.

a. I understand there's not an "average" age - but is there some sort of estimate on a first wet dream? I've heard of people having it when they're 10 - and some not getting it until maybe their 20s.

b. What's it like? Do you actually have a dream of yourself getting some sort of sexual pleasure? Or do you just wake up in your own semen thinking what the hell just happened?

c. I've heard that if you masturbate, but you don't actually ejaculate, it would "speed" the process - is this true?

d. Any tips to have one?

Thanks.

I'm not a guy, so I probably can't answer all these questions that effectively but I'll give it my best shot.

Firstly, why do you want to have a wet dream? I didn't think it was a good thing :/ Maybe I'm wrong though!

I don't think there's any one time when someone would get a wet dream, I think it just can happen sometimes.

I can't answer what it's like because I'm not a boy

I'm not too sure about 'c'. And I go back to my point about wanting a wet dream. I don't see why you would want one, so then to want to speed up the process.

And no tips to have one. I just they just happen randomly.

Take care.

I'm a female, but I've had wet dreams before. They are involuntary and generally happen because of a sexual dream. I for one never mean for them to and I am not certain what males do, but for me it's unnecessary.

It's just that I've heard the pleasure is significantly better. Not sure how that'd work out though, since you'd be asleep.

A wet dream is just you having a naughty dream, and ejaculating while you sleep. I don't even think you know it happens, until you wake up. It's definitely not something to strive to get.

Re: Wet dreams? - September 28th 2010, 02:53 PM

I agree with Tayla Jay on this. A Wet dream is just a naughty dream that you have at random to get rid of excess semen, oh more like OLD semen. It can start at any age after purberty. and can come and go depending on level of horomones, stress sexual activity (including masturbation) and other factors. Generally they fall off after the mid twenties but senior citizens have been known to get them too.

As for trying to induce one? It's alot like trying to induce a dream of flying, and actually falling out of bed while doing it. It is hard (yet possible) to control your dreams and make any fantasy you want happen in them. It just takes time and practice. Try looking up "Lucid Dreaming" on wikipedia one day.

But a common myth about wet dreams is that you will have a really really hot dream and a coorsponding orgasm and ejaculation. Not so, in fact, I would say about 70% of the time you don't have a dream and you just wake up the next morning with sticky shorts. It's a biological process iof getting rid of old semen to make sure you have a fresh batch ready. It is about as sexual as a woman menstral cycle :P .

And masturbating will not help inducing one. In fact, frequent masturbation actually decreases the frequency of wet dreams. About once or twice a week of wanking is enough to stop them all together. And to be honest, i would prefer masturbation over wet dreams because A) you can control when you do it, so you can be prepared to clean up the mess, or aviod a mess. B) you can enjoy it better, and have an actual sexual exprience. C) All the OTHER physiological and psychological side benefits of regualr mantaince of your undercarriage.

I hope this helps

So wet dreams aren't really a good thing then?

They're not a bad thing. But I don't think it's something to brag about, or 'want'.

Trust me, you don't want them. Nonetheless, if you take your "alone time" each day you will never have them.
