I recently got into a conversation with my boyfriend's mother, his stepfather and their neighbor/close friend about masturbation and virginity. We were all just sitting outside their house on Saturday night, enjoying some drinks and it turned up on this topic. I don't even remember why, or how but it did.
I've never been afraid to talk about sex with anyone, although this conversation was a bit awkward, since I found out some things about my boyfriend's parents' sex life. Awkward, is actually an understatement here. It came out that my boyfriend's little sister, who is 12, was actually caught masturbating. We all know it's normal, and it's pretty normal for her age (I find it weird just because I think of her as my little sister of sorts) and that it's okay for her to do that. My question here is: how old were you when you started masturbating? And, how old were you when you lost your virginity? My answer here: I was around 12 or 13 when I started masturbating, usually once a week on a Sunday when I got to watch an Oxygen TV show called Bliss, so I had some visual help. And, I was 16.5 when I lost my virginity. I don't remember when I properly started masturbating. I probably tried it a few times when I was about 12 but got no pleasure from it so stopped again until maybe 14/15 when I actually began to enjoy it.

Technically, everyone masturbates during the wonderful phallic stage of the very early years, but most people don't remember it.

I started masturbating pretty young.. like nine or ten, but I didn't get good at it until I was around twelve. I technically lost virginity at thirteen, but seeing how it was rape, I don't count that as my first time. I had what I count as my first time at fifteen.

Oh God....i don't think that conversation would EVER happen with my boyfriend's parents!! I started masturbating maybe around...14, 15?? And lost my virginity at 17. However it wasn't until I had my first orgasm at 18 that I actually started doing it regularly.
