How long does your period last?

I'm wondering what's "normal" and what isn't

Mine normally lasts about 4 days.

Well before I was on the pill, it lasted a whole week.
Now its down to round about four days.

It's about 3 days "active" flow, 2 of those days being heavy, and from there it varies, but it's more spotting/extremely light flow than anything.

Same. Generally I cramp 2 days before, have heavy flow for 2-3 days then spotting for 2-4.

Before I went on the pill it lasted for a week. Sometimes six days, sometimes eight, but most of the time seven. It was very annoying, since the flow was pretty much the same, up until the last few days.

Mine lasts between three and seven days, with bad cramps, nausea and migraines as well as mood swings. Sometimes I hate being female.

I voted for how it was before I was on the pill, mine would last on average nine days, but would get up to fifteen sometimes. Hence, I got on the pill. xD It's now four.

It will come in the afternoon/evening on and be light until the next afternoon/evening and then it'll be heavier for a couple days and then light for another 3-ish days, maybe 4.

Before I was on the pill it lasted pretty much seven days, my cycle was a pretty exact 28-day circle!! Now it's about 4-5, and much lighter. It usually lasts from Thursday to Monday/Tuesday.

That's why I loooove birth control. Thinking about doing Seasonal/Seasonique, doing the four periods a year. That'd be awesome.
But you guys are so lucky. I had to take birth control to get mine from nine to four, and it still sometimes goes over into my pills. >__<

First 3 days are madly heavy, then heavy for 2 days, and 2 or 3 days of slightly lighter.

I hate it with a passion, and I'm really genuinely considering going on birth control.

For me, it's 5-8 days depending. Normally lightish on day 1 then heavy for about 2/3 days and then it slowly subsides. Don't really get cramps and stuff But I only get it every 2-3 months which makes it hard to control.
I don't think there's a normal, it's different for everyone

Mine always last exactly 7 days no more or less. The first six days are medium to heavy flow and the last day is usually light but not always. I always get cramps and a backache for the first day and sometimes I still have a backache on the second day.

Mine lasts for five days. The first two days are heavy, third day is like any other day, there is hardly a flow, the last two days are mild. =P I don't know why it randomly decides to leave in the middle of it, but I wish it'd be gone.

Yay! I'm normal I normally have 3 days of heavy bleeding and then really light on the 4th day and barely even a drop on the 5th day.

About 5-6 days for me.

I bleed constantly for about 4-5 days, and then I stop for a day, and then I bleed a little bit (I guess spotting?) for not even a full day, and then I'm done. xD My regular is very irregular.

I did take birth control once and the pain was nonexistent and the periods were light...the only problem was that I started getting my period every two weeks. Lol So I quit.
