Well... is it normal NOT to feel any different? Like, it went all the way in, we're not virgins anymore, and I don't feel different at all.

Secondly, I'm seeing him this weekend, the first time was last weekend. I really want to do it again xD But, I'm on the pill and for the past two weeks, I haven't remembered to take it at the correct time for this reason or that; I haven't skipped any days, but I've ended up taking it an hour or more late for a few days, and the week before, usually like ten or twenty minutes off. So, if we use a condom, does that make any difference?

Hey there! I didn't feel different after I had sex the first time either. I have no moral standings with virginity though, so that could have been the reason. I'm just going to tell you, I'm a huge advocate for condoms. So I'm going to recommend them. But if you were late a few days, I wouldn't worry about pregnancy. Just try to take them more regularly, maybe set an alarm on your phone. And really, get a variety pack, and try out some condoms. They're lubricated, and do really help protect. Good luck!

You shouldn't feel any different, because you didn't really do anything but have sex.

For me, I was just excited that I knew what all the hype was about. Did I feel different physically? No. I felt the same as I had before I lost my virginity. If you don't feel any different, no harm done. It's like turning a new age, you may look different physically but do you feel differently? Probably not.

Now, whenever you feel comfortable with doing it again, and as long as he feels comfortable doing it again. That's when the right time is. Don't plan it, let things go with the flow. Trust me, it makes it much better that way.

Now, with birth control, some pills give you a window where it will still be effective if you didn't take it at your normal time. It ranges from 3 hours to like 12 hours, depending on the pill.

I agree with some of the others. I still think that when you are on the pill that you still use a condom - plain and simple & ofcourse, I would still reccommend it now.

Since you are on the pill (congrats by the way), I think you should just talk to your doctor about the time frames to confirm it. In some cases you dont even have to go in to his office, Just give him/her a call.

It's not like you necessarily experience some magical feeling physically after you have sex the first time. It's kinda of like turning another year older: you know you are older, but you don't really feel older. It's a perfectly normal feeling.

As for having sex this weekend you would need to use a condom for the most effective contraception, just in case. An hour's difference isn't really too bad, but it's better to be safe than not.

When I had my first time I didn't get any magical feelings or anything either, I was happy because I put my trust in someone and for once I right to do so.

If you miss your pill by a few minutes or by an hour or two, it will usually remain effective. For combined hormone pills, you usually have a 12 hour window in which it remains effective. The mini pill only allows for a 3 hour grace period. You should check which type of pill you have and look up the information online, or ask your healthcare provider. It may be a good idea to double up on contraceptives if you are prone to forgetting to taking your pill on time.

I didn't feel any different after having sex. Its normal You're birth control should remain effective if it was taken only an hour or so delayed but try and take it at the same time from now on. I also agree with Traci, condoms are good to use. Better safe then sorry.

Typically, birth control pills are most effective when taken at the same time of the day, every day. If you are having trouble remembering, something that always helps me is to set an alarm on my phone, with a loud/irritating ringtone. That way it's hard to forget. But also, birth control isn't 100% effective, even when it is taken on time every day, so doubling up on protection won't hurt. Sex is a fantastic thing. I didn't feel much different after my first time but like you I wanted it again.
As it has been said already, just go with the flow. As long as it is what both parties want then go for it.
Just be safe, make sure you are ready for when it happens.

Thanks for all the responses, guys! Well, I saw him and we did have sex. Twice xD But, on the drive back to his place I had forgot my pills at home, and I went back and took it, but I was a little more than an hour late by then :/ We had had sex twice the previous day--I had phrased this wrong, we've used condoms everytime since we're both pretty adament about NOT having a child xD But we got concerned because the last time, he kept moving a bit after he came, and I know that's not advised. Anyway, can someone please just tell me I'm crazy for worrying when we're using the pill AND condoms? xD

I guess I can't really speak to the part about feeling differently frm my own experience but I do know a friend of mine who told me she cried after having sex for the first time because she couldn't control her emotions aha. I guess in that way it differs fro everyone especially since some people regard sex as being "just sex" and others find it has a more emotional side and its really important t them. Anyways, I'm going to be one of those annoying posters who simply agrees with the above posts but I do agree that condoms are necessary. They prevent from stis etc and it never hurts to have two methods on contraception.
