I just lost my virginity to this random guy who I barely knew and who was much older than I was. I feel really weird and unclean now and just feel disgusting and I was wondering if any of you have had a similar experience? and if so how did you get rid of this really horrible feeling haha

Well, I did have this experiance, but personally, guys my age (16) love the idea of getting with an older woman - so it was actually more of a better feelings. For the first time thing, I can see how you feel about it - I think that the feeling will just come off eventually the more you get sexually active.

Losing your virginity is a great feeling because you can say "why yes...yes I have had sex. I have satisfied a biological drive." Sure, you didn't lose it to someone that you felt special about...but virginity...there's a first time for everything and it all boggles down to whether you want virginity to be more than just a first time, or just like any other first time experiences. If you want it to be significant, understand that the "damage" has already been done and that it's best to accept that, or you can say...hey, I lost my virginity...and that's a pretty good accomplishment and confidence booster. I didn't have sex with a significant person like I might've planned on, but hey...we all make mistakes.

I was in a similar experience. A few years ago I was very stupid and dated an older guy. Our relationship was secret, and we mostly communicated online/text. I saw him occasionally, and after about 5 months I finally had sex with him. We only did it once, and it just happened so fast...I don't know what the hell I was thinking. I felt so dirty afterward, like I'd made a huge mistake. We never saw each other and we just jumped into it, and I was very ashamed. For a long time I felt that way, but I pushed it away. After a while I was able to forget, but it nagged me occasionally until I found a person who heard my story and still accepted me, because the past is the past, and it can't be changed. After that, my guilt almost completely vanished.

It just takes time. Try not to think too much about the mistakes you made, just learn from them. It is hard sometimes, but that's life. Just look forward instead of backward, and you'll get there.

Same thing happened to me with a guy who is 3 years older I believe. You just have to remember just because he was your first, doesn't mean that he will be your last. Whats important is that the next time is with somebody that you love. Mistakes happen, so don't feel too bad about it. Time will help take away the bad feelings, but as Chris said once you get sexually active again it won't bother you anymore. I've started having sex with my current boyfriend and my first time doesn't get to me anymore.

I never placed much emphasis on who I lost my virginity to because I never valued it, however, remember that life is full of successes and mistakes. You had both: you lost your virginity (success) but to some random guy (mistake). There's a positive side you should focus on. When you have sex with the next person, hopefully it turns out better and you focus on that memory instead. You have no obligation to stay with the guy.

I lost my virginity to a loser when I was just 15 years old and I hated myself until I fell in love and started having sex with him. Now, my first time doesn't mean too much knowing that I had sex with someone who actually cared about me. Time made the resentment fade. It seems as though I'm not alone here, so you can get through it too. Don't worry too much about it. Regret just takes up too much emotion. Just remember that you made a mistake, it happens, and learn from it.

Everyone here has the right idea. I lost my virginity when I was 13 to guy who was a year older. I really didn't know him and after I felt terrible but after you start to be sexual with someone who you do care about it fades, and just remember, it was a mistake,it's happened now. But everyone makes mistakes, you just need to remember that. Also that feeling just fades with time.

Those feelings will disappear over time, don't worry. Things like this happen, you just have to move on and not ponder it or it could mess with your sex life.
